Mission Statement:

Beginnings Preschool strives to provide a caring and Christian based educational environment to promote the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of each child.

Philosophy:

Beginnings Preschool believes that learning in the first 5 years of life is critical to future successes in education and society. Students will be taught a Christ-centered VPK (Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten) approved curriculum using center areas in the classroom and outdoor play. The qualified staff aims to promote the four-child development theories of growth through teacher directed lessons and facilitated independent play. Beginnings Preschool will celebrate and focus on the true meaning of all Christian holidays. Teachers will adapt fundamental Christian beliefs into everyday lessons. We encourage parent involvement and ask that parents pray for the school each day. A newsletter will be sent home monthly to keep parents informed of the exciting updates of Beginnings Preschool.

Operation Time:

School Year: September-May

Optional Summer Program may be available to current students

School Holidays follow the Walton County School Schedule

School hours: 9 A.M. – 2 P.M. (8 A.M. “early drop” option available for additional cost, limited space)

General Information:

Each child brings a snack and a lunch to school – no on-site food service is available.

Teacher-Student Ratio is 10:1 in each classroom with a “floater” and Director on-site daily. Total daily ratio is 30 Students to 5 Staff.

Beginnings Preschool uses High Reach Curriculum (www.highreach.com)

Fees due: Registration Fee, Annual Supply Fee, and Monthly Tuition

For parent convenience, we provide a drive thru student drop-off and pick-up.

The students rest for ~ 1 hour each day
