games and experience music and drama. Membership is limited to the

Elementary Schools.

- Nursery is available during both Sunday morning services and during Small Group Time (9:50) for infants through two years old.
- Kid's Small Group Bible Study at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday. This is for First through Fifth Graders.
- Preschool age Children's Church is at both service times. Parents
may take advantage of early drop off before the service begins. Your
preschooler may also attend their own small group between service
times: Rock Solid!
- K-5th graders on Sunday morning line-up: 8:50 Children's Church; 10:00 Kids Small Groups; 11:00 KidStuf Worship
What you and your child can expect Sunday Morning:
At both services, children are able to "Come on down and learn about
Jesus" for a children's moment with Miss Dayna. Afterwards, children
will follow Miss Dayna out and will either be taken to the preschool
hallway (inside the main building) or next door to the youth and
children's building.
At both the 8:50 Service and 9:50 Small group times children will be in
an age appropriate classroom with a small group leader who has passed a
background check, who will care for your child, who is concerned about
their safety and will teach your child about God's love. Children will
spend the month learning about a Christ Virtue, like: Self-Control,
Humility, Patience, or Gratitude which will be taught through Bible
stories, hands-on activities, a monthly memory verse and small group
discussion time.
At the 11:00 service, after the children’s moment, K-5th grade will all
come together in “The Green Room” for KidStuf Worship, a 45 minute fun,
and interactive time of relevant worship for your kids, which
compliments your child’s small group meeting time by continuing to
teach the timeless message of biblical virtues. And guess what?
Parents, you are invited to attend also. Just follow the kids out of “
Big Church” after the children’s moment. We want KidStuf Worship to be
a shared family experience that allows us to work together to make
home, as well as church, a place for the entire family to grow
spiritually. We tend to think family, instead of just kids, and we
realize that more time is spent at home than at church. So, the
importance of what happens in families far outweighs what happens at
church. In fact, moms and dads have around 3000 hours with their kids
in one year. At church we get 104 (if you make it every week for two
hours). We want to provide you with the resources to teach your
children the values in Scripture. Each virtue we teach is exemplified
by Christ. So, come be a part of our family. Join your kids for 45
minutes each week in KidStuf. Make sure they are a part of a small
group (and that you are a part of a small group too!) 100 years from
now the only thing that will matter is someone’s relationship with
God. Together lets make a difference for the sake of Christ.
Here at Good News we use 252 Basics curriculum based on Luke 2:52 "and
Jesus grew in wisdom and stature and favor with God and man." That is
what we hope for your child: that they will begin to grow in their
relationship with Jesus at an early age by learning how to talk to Him
and how to apply God's Word to their lives.
Luke 2:52 helps build 3 basic truths for your child:
1) I Need To Make The Wise Choice...So I Will…
a. Trust & follow Jesus
b. Spend time getting to know God
c. Do whatever God says
d. Discover God’s unique plan for my life
2) I Can Trust God No Matter What…Because…
a. He is my Creator
b. He is my Father
c. He is my Guide
d. He is my Savior
3) I Should Treat Others The Way I Want To Be Treated…So I Will…
a. Show God’s love to those around me
b. Respect whoever God puts over me
c. Care enough to put others before me
d. Be the right friend to those beside me
