Question:  Who can come to Good News?

Answer:  Anyone who seeks God and God’s truth.

Question:  What do you believe?

Answer:  Click on this link - where our basic beliefs are summarized.

Question:  How do I join Good News?

Answer:  1) If you are a member of another Christian Church you can join by coming forward at the end of any worship service or gathering and answering one question … “Will you be loyal to this church and support it by your prayers, your presence, your gifts and your service.” 2) If you have been “out” of the church for a long time but have been previously baptized you can be received as stated above, but we would ask you to affirm your profession of faith in Christ.  The United Methodist Church acknowledges and accepts your baptism if you were baptized in another Christian Church 3) If you have never been baptized or have never joined a church we would accept you as a candidate for baptism.  You can be baptized by either pouring, sprinkling or immersion.  You would profess your faith in Christ, accept His power in your life and (as above) express your intent to be a loyal part of Good News.

Question:  Who can join Good News?

Answer:  Anyone who expresses their faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and receives Him by submission through the Sacrament of Baptism.  This Sacrament is an outward sign of the inward faith in Christ and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
