Epilogue -

It is a delight serving as your Pastor at Good News. God is working here to show Himself in our community and I am honored to be along for the ride. During Faith Quest we have traveled the road toward a stronger faith in Christ. This road always leads to a better place, a place being prepared for all of God’s children who call on His name.

We will be embarking on some other journeys during the months to come. Next month we will tell the story of a God that daily proves His Word is relevant and active in our life and in the world. The preaching series will take actual news stories from our local news and explore how God’s Word provides guidance and answers. We will learn the Christian response to good and bad that happens right here in our world.

In November we will be exploring how God is an amazing provider that we can trust with everything in our life. After all, all the good things came from Him anyway! At Christmas we will be doing a preaching series called “Welcome to Our World.” We will welcome the Christ Child into our lives and our problems as we look with wonder at how the God of creation chose to wrap human flesh around Himself in a beautiful act of salvation through a life of sacrifice.

Then in January our community will be invited to ask their most pressing and troubling questions about God, the Church and Faith itself. “6 Questions” will take the top six questions and express the answers from the Word of God.

Your prayers, your active participation in worship, your involvement in some ministry at Good News and your giving to God’s Work through Good News is always appreciated. To use Jesus’ words, “come, follow Me!”
