| Notes: | 1 THESSALONIANS 5:16-18 (NIV) - “Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
I think sometimes we as Christians have a BIG view of GOD until the bottom falls out in our lives.
The longer we live, the more chances there will be for hardships in our lives. It is also a time that we can see how VAST our Lord is. No matter what life throws our way, it does not change who GOD is. He is still Holy and Righteous. He is the One Enthroned in Heavens. We should be joyful and pray about all things giving the Lord thanks in all things. In fact we are commanded to do this.
If the Lord does nothing else for us except to give us salvation, which is HUGE, He owes us nothing more. But GOD being the ONE who loves us even before we loved Him blesses us so mightily. Isn’t that just like our Father to give us more than we ask for or think of?
Prayer: Lord, I come recognizing that You are the One true loving God who spoke the universe into existence, and who cares to know my name. You are so worthy of our continuous praise and worship. Amen
Thought for the Day: God is Almighty regardless of our circumstances.
