LUKE 19:26 (KJV) - “For I say unto you, that unto every one which hath shall be given; and from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken away from him.”

This verse clearly teaches that we are to use our gifts. It comes at the end of a discourse where Jesus spoke directly concerning hording and misuse of personal resources.

As Christians, we are not to keep our gifts hidden, nor are they to be used selfishly. All our gifts and talents are to be used as God wills, for His purpose; that is to serve the Body and to honor Him.
