ROMANS 12:6 (NIV) - “We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man’s gift is prophecy, let him use it in proportion to his faith.”

God has given all of us different gifts to use for his honor and glory. Whether it is music, speaking, teaching or support in many other ways throughout the church, we all have an ability to serve God.

In this verse Paul has been very specific on those who have the gift of prophecy. Prophecy is not mystical or predicting the future; it is speaking the truth as we know it to be through our faith and knowledge. What we say and do may be the only Bible some people will ever read. So, we must be careful not to do more harm than good. We must be real and genuine.
