| Notes: | PHILIPPIANS 4:19 (NIV) - “And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.”
Apostle Paul told the Philippians that God provides. That promise is ours also. God provides for the birds, even the little sparrow. (Surely he will provide for us). Let’s think though. The bird doesn’t sit on the limb and wait to be fed. The birds find their own food and water and sometimes work very hard for it. God does provide.
The promise is ours every day if we will only take the appropriate action and receive it. God makes the provisions available through the use of our minds and sometimes hard work.
This Scripture seems to me to be reinforcing the fact that when we give in his name, we also will receive, (provided).
The Philippians had provided (given) gifts to Paul during his preaching and teaching tours.
