| Notes: | HEBREWS 10:23-25 (NIV) - “Let us hold unswerving to the hope we profess for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but, let us encourage one another.”
This Scripture is very meaningful to me and is very exemplary of patterns that really changed my life.
The “Walk to Emmaus” program woke me up and really impressed upon me the fact that faith in Jesus Christ is the most important thing we can live by. He is the faithful one who promised us in the book of John that whosoever believes in him shall not perish, but will have everlasting life. We can spur one another toward love and good deeds by sharing our love of the Lord with each other and by acting in ways that show our love for Him and for humankind. We all need to keep our Christian batteries charged and we can do that by regularly attending our churches, Bible studies, prayer meetings, and all Christian activities.
I also believe that it is very important to be involved in small accountability groups whereby we can pray together and as good Christian friends we can love and encourage one another in God’s love.
