| Notes: | MARK 12:30 (NIV) - “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.”
As grandparents of 12, we stand at a point in our lives where we can look back and clearly see the many blessings God has given us down through the years. God has richly blessed us and our four children’s families. With God’s Grace we have lived the life of Faith. We joined the church wherever we moved. Bob taught an Adult Bible Class for 15 years, and I was a leader of Church Women United and UMW for several years.
Serving when our children were small…we still were present when needed for school functions, Scouts, and music lessons. Of course we needed the Lord in our lives. We would not have made it without Him. Sometimes we knew our gifts were short, so we sacrificed. It was Jesus who said, “The greatest commandment is loving the Lord with all your heart, and with all your mind, with all your soul, and with all your strength.”
Putting God first, even before spouse and family shows who or what we worship. Loving God with all our minds is, as we pray without ceasing, a loving relationship. Loving God with all our strength is doing our duty to God, country and home. Loving God with all our souls is our Life.
